MINO WIRELESS ENHANCES MANAGEMENT AND CONTROL OF INTERNATIONAL MOBILE CALLING COSTS FOR ENTERPRISES

- Introduces Tighter Integration with BlackBerry Enterprise Server, Device Auto-Configuration and Enhanced Management Tools -

Sunnyvale, CA – August 7, 2007 -MINO Wireless, the leader in providing fully managed enterprise-class international call services from mobile devices, today launched new features enabling businesses to more easily control and manage mobile communications costs. MINO Enterprise for BlackBerry 2.0, an international mobile calling service, can now be deployed centrally across an organization allowing mobile calling policies to be enforced, while reducing overall communications costs. Tighter integration with BlackBerry Enterprise Server allows IT teams to support each user remotely and gives finance departments control over international mobile calling costs and permissions at an individual level.

MINO Enterprise for BlackBerry 2.0 enables enterprises to reduce international calling costs made from mobile devices by enforcing mobile communications policies and by directing calls via least-cost routes. Organizations can bring all Blackberry users into one central pooling plan regardless of mobile carrier, for greater insight and cost control. Since deployment is managed centrally, BlackBerry users are not inconvenienced during the roll out of MINO Enterprise for BlackBerry 2.0. Once deployed, BlackBerry users can make international calls directly from the address book as is standard with the device. This combines control and cost-reduction benefits for the organization with rapid adoption by users who are not required to change established calling habits.

“MINO Wireless’ international mobile calling service has already helped us cut our phone bills significantly,” said Oded Haner, IT Director of Monster Cable Products “We have quite a few BlackBerry users, and the new features in this release of MINO’s client software make it easier than ever to deploy and manage our international calling services.”

“MINO Wireless is constantly looking for ways to improve its services and enhance the user experience,” said Jing Liu, CEO of MINO Wireless. “As our enterprise customer base grows, we’re identifying new ways to help organizations manage and control mobile calling costs. Companies are increasingly dependant on mobile phones for customer and staff interaction. As businesses become more global, they need an effective way to control the costs associated with international calls without impacting staff productivity. MINO Enterprise for BlackBerry 2.0 addresses that challenge.”

MINO Enterprise for BlackBerry 2.0 allows better provisioning of mobile calling technology by fully integrating with the administration console of the BlackBerry Enterprise Server. This eliminates the need to re-create users in a separate application and allows IT administrators to deploy MINO Mobile, the MINO Enterprise for BlackBerry client software, directly onto each device within a corporation. Activation of MINO Enterprise for BlackBerry 2.0 can be done automatically, since the need for authentication PINs for each device has been eliminated and mobile carrier selection is automatic.

MINO Mobile integrates fully with a BlackBerry’s native address book, allowing users to make international mobile calls directly from a contact’s details. Users can now also initiate calls using any telephone number displayed on the device, whether in a web page, an email, a task, note or calendar event. This ‘Catch Number’ feature saves time and allows users to add numbers to the address book having placed a call through the MINO Wireless application.

MINO Enterprise for Blackberry 2.0 is available now from MINO Wireless and from select telecom, managed service and VoIP resellers. MINO Wireless offers a range of pooling plan minutes for enterprises of all sizes. To arrange for a corporate trial, contact sales@minowireless.com.
